What is happening?  Information Systems and Technology (IST) will be discontinuing the existing SPSS license with Orion, due to the significant cost, and relatively low usage of SPSS.

When is this happening? Starting January 2026.   

What do I need to do?

• For use in 2025 (until December 31, 2025), SPSS for faculty and staff for academic research or teaching is available through the
• Starting in January 2026, faculty, researchers and students, can purchase SPSS from one of the following sources
  • Ìý(°¿²Ô°Õ³ó±ð±á³Ü²ú)
  • Other vendor options from IBM are listed at:
  • Note that some have switched to  as an alternative.
