The semi-final competition took place last week, where 17 teams competed and presented their innovative ideas to address the challenges and opportunities facing Lake Erie.

Menstrual Hygiene Day was celebrated on May 26th at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ. GoHelP's Sabrina Li was one of the two primary organizers for the event, supported by a team of volunteers. Guest speakers included Dr. Susan Elliott and Elizabeth Onyango (Queen Elizabeth Scholar) from the GoHelP team, who discussed topics such as the lack of menstrual hygiene and consequences for girls in East Africa, and the best contributors to improving menstrual hygiene in the developing world, such as water and sanitation, during the panel discussion.

The Rideau Hall Foundation released its 2016-2017 annual report for the Canadian Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Scholarship Program this week.
