This is a unique and exciting opportunity for Fine Art students to have their artwork showcased at Canada’s largest and longest-running annual contemporary art fair. Functioning as both an art lab and studio, S.A.I.L. is for the first time bringing its award-winning community outreach programming outside the À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Region. This exhibition and interactive workshop will introduce the Fine Arts department to the art communities of both Toronto and the world!

Fine Arts' Associate Professor Tara Cooper, alongside the S.A.I.L. team of Merna Gallo, Jacqui Mason and Paige Smith, have curated an exhibition focused on identity, self-portraiture, and emotional states of transition.

S.A.I.L. is operated by fine art students each summer who facilitate events, exhibitions, and workshops for all ages. S.A.I.L. staff, volunteers, and artists are provided with experiential learning opportunities in professional development, cultural management, creative arts programming, installation, marketing, and arts education.Â
