Since 2008 the Fine Arts Department has partnered with the Region of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ to display a few, select works of art from the 4th year graduating exhibition to display in Regional buildings for the following year. The program took a short hiatus during the pandemic, and restarted this year with work now hanging in the Region of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Library’s Ayr branch until April 2025.
The art was selected earlier this year by a jury of Public Art Advisory Committee. Funding artists’ work is an important part of the program – each artist is receiving $450 for the loan of their work. The program also supports these artists with professional development and an opportunity to enhance their career.
