ÌýUniversity Health Insurance Plan (UHIP) - compulsory for students without provincial health insurance
International students who were not in Canada for any part of Fall 2021 AND ALSO will not be in Canada for any part of Winter 2022 term can complete the declaration in the optional fees section on Quest between November 21 - December 14, 2021 to opt out of UHIP coverage for Winter term and have the UHIP charge removed from your bill.
UHIP is an annual plan. Students who are enrolled in the plan for Fall will be charged for Winter 2022 and Spring 2022 and will not have an option to opt out of coverage for those terms.
