As part of their final capstone course, Environment and Business students, Lina Wilson, Cove Young, Sarah Fencott, and Megan Aucoin, developed a best practices final report to support the creation of a reconciliation action plan for the Faculty of Environment.
Two PhD students in the Faculty of Environment are among the recipients of the 2025 Flight 302 Legacy Award. The award, valued at $10,000, is named for Ethiopian Airlines Flight 302 that crashed in March 2019 near Addis Ababa in Ethiopia.

Dr. Neil Craik’s recent book,ÌýLiability for Environmental Harm to the Global CommonsÌý(Cambridge University Press, 2023), was awarded the 2024 Canadian Council on International Law’s Scholarly Book Award, which recognizes the work of Canadian scholars of international law that make a substantial contribution to international law literature.

It is with great sadness that we share the news of Larry Lamb’s passing. Larry spent 40 years working in the Faculty of Environment as both an adjunct lecturer and head of the ecology lab.ÌýÌý
