The steps to a successful application

ÌýSubmit an OUAC Application

Full-time students will apply through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC), which processes applications to each of Ontario's universities.Ìý

Ontario high school studentsÌýshould use theÌý.
All other students should use theÌý.

Complete theÌýAdmission Information Form (AIF)

Students can create an account in Quest, our online student information system.ÌýOnce they have a Quest account, they can log in and complete the questions before theÌý.

2-ÌýÌýcan also walk themÌýthrough the process.
3-Tip:ÌýBe sure that students click save and submit on each page whenÌýcompleting their form in Quest

We recommend students prepare answers in advance and check for spelling,punctuation, and grammar before submitting. They may also want to reviewÌýcommon questionsÌýabout the AIF.

ÌýOnline Video Interview (Optional)

Students will receive an email inviting them to participate in the video interview within 3 weeks of applying. They will be asked a question, given prep time, and allotted a set amount of time to respond. It should take no more than 5 minutes to complete and practice sessions are available. Students will require an Internet-connected computer with a functioning webcam and microphone.Ìý

If you’re an Ontario high school student and you confirm an offer from another Ontario university before you receive ours, you still have untilÌýJune 1,Ìý2023Ìýto amend your decision and accept a later offer, without penalty.ÌýÌýNo Ontario University can require a financial commitment from you beforeÌýJune 1, 2023Ìý- thisÌýis theÌýearliestÌýdateÌýOntario universitiesÌýmayÌýrequireÌýa response to an offer of admission and a financial commitment of any kind (ie: registration deposit, residence deposit, etc.)
