The Proposal Deadline has been extended to October 29th, 2020 at 11:59 pm

The Presentation Dates are as follows:

• Faculty Presentations | Monday, November 2nd, 2020 - 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
• Student Team Presentations | Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020 - 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm
• Decision Meeting | Thursday, November 5th, 2020 - 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm

WEEF Proposals are being accepted yet again for the Fall 2020 term!

Proposal deadline: Friday, October 23rd, 2020 at 11:59 pm.

The funding coucil/presentation dates have not yet been determined as they require special planning for those in different time zones.Ìý

To account for this, after the submission deadline, you will be emailed separately to choose a presentation slot on the TBA dates.Ìý(The presentation dates should be around early November)

WEEF proposals are soon being accepted again for Spring 2020!
The deadline for this semester will be Wednesday July 8th, 2020 at 11:00 pm.

Proposals will open in the coming days so check the website frequently.

Please be sure to read the funding guidelines prior to submitting your proposal. Remember WEEF does not typically fund consumables or competition fees.

To whom it may concern,

I want to provide an update for how WEEF will be running this term.ÌýAfter meeting with the Board of Directors recently, we have decided that WEEF will continue to run as usual this term.ÌýWe owe it to the À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ engineering community to continue to provide educational funding to students and faculty who are counting on getting it.Ìý

Over the last week, the WEEF funding council listed to presentations from people who submitted proposals. After 2 hours of deliberation between WEEF class reps at the funding decision meeting, the allocations for Fall 2019 were finalized.
