What is happening?鈥疻e will be testing the University鈥檚 campus-wide emergency communication system.听
When is this happening?聽Tuesday, January 28 at 2:15 p.m.鈥
What is the impact?鈥疎mergency communication channels being tested include:聽
- Tweets to @U蓝莓视频 and @WatSAFEapp聽
- WatSAFE mobile app聽
- The 鈥榃atSAFE Desktop Notification鈥 on-screen pop-up for desktops and laptops聽
- Portal alerts and push notifications聽
惭别蝉蝉补驳颈苍驳:鈥The message displayed will read 鈥淭EST of the UW Emergency Notification System. During an actual emergency or threat you would receive instructions. No action is required.鈥 More information regarding the emergency would be available at聽.听
Approximately 15 minutes after the test activation message is sent, a deactivation message will display, 鈥淭he test of the UW Emergency Notification System is complete.鈥澛
