After careful review and analysis of the Learning Management System (LMS) project findings, the project team has recommended continued use of LEARN (D2L’s Brightspace), with a focus on improving the platform as it relates to the learning experience.
Updated information about polling tools for Fall term, specifically iClicker, and investigation into a centrally supported and funded option for campus.
The University partnered with the Ontario Education Collaborative Marketplace (OECM), a trusted not-for-profit collaborative sourcing partner for Ontario’s education sector, broader public sector, and other not-for-profits, in a competitive LMS open-procurement process. Note, LEARN remains the University’s supported LMS tool and will continue to be used for the fall term.
