Dan Vogel, Post Doctoral Fellow with the David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science, is working on a way to communicate with your home. A member of ��ݮ��Ƶ's , Vogel, who will join the School of Computer Science as a professor this May, focuses his research on large displays, input technologies and interaction techniques, and aesthetic interaction.

Raouf Boutaba, Professor at the David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science, has been named a Fellow of the Engineering Institute of Canada (EIC-ICI). Boutaba adds this fellowship to an impressive list of accolades having been named a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) just over a year ago.

Ondrej Lhotak, Associate Professor with the David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science has been named an Outstanding Young Computer Science Researcher by the . Lhotak joins Associate Professor Ian Goldberg (2010) and Professor Bin Ma (2009) in a growing list of distinguished faculty members who have won this researcher prize.

For the second year in a row, a student team from the School of Accounting and Finance, including Anqi Wang (CFM '13), took top prize at the . The team will advance to the Americas Regional Competition held in Toronto in March.
