Former PhD student awarded best dissertation at symposium

Former PhD student, (supervised by Raouf Boutaba) received the Best Dissertation Award last week at the
, in Krakow, Poland for his PhD thesis, "Efficient Resource Management for Cloud Computing Environments". 
The selection for this award is based on a submission of his thesis  
document, his CV and a presentation of his thesis digest at the Network Operations and Management Symposium dissertation track. The presentation and award selection are done by a dedicated dissertation program and award committee. 
Qi completed his PhD in the David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science in September 2013 and is since a Post-doctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto.
