2017 Computer Science Grad Student BBQ

The David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science invites itsÌýgraduate students along with faculty and staff to the annual Computer Science BBQ, Thursday September 14, 2017.

Location change: Because of a concurrent Feds event, the Computer Science Graduate StudentÌýBBQ will take place at the DC Quad. Tables and chairs will be set up in the DC foyer.

The BBQ starts atÌý4:45 p.m. and will runÌýuntil dark.

ACM-style programming contest

The next À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ-local ACM-style programming contest will be held onÌýSaturday, September 30, 2017 in MC 3003.

All members of the UW community areÌýinvited to try their programming skill in Racket, C, C++, Java, Pascal,ÌýPythonÌýor Scala!

The results of this local contest will be used to select the UW teamsÌýfor the international ACM competition. We will send three or more teamsÌýof three students each to the East Central North America Regional inÌýWindsor on October 27–28, 2017.
