Come out to hear pecha kucha-style student talks

As part of their final project, students in Jill Tomasson Goodwin's DAC 329/SPCOM 329 Digital Presentations course are mounting an evening of scintillating talks with stunning visuals. Called Ignite À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ 329, the event will be run as an Ignite (pecha kucha)-style event. Adopting Ignite's tagline, ‘Enlighten us, but make it quick,’ Ignite À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ 329, named after the course number, joins the family of Ignite community speaking events that take place around the world, from Toronto to Tokyo. À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ region's website captures the spirit and the speed of the evening: “Imagine that you’re on stage in front of an audience of hundreds of people, accompanied by a slide deck that auto-forwards every 15 seconds, whether you’re ready or not. What would you do? What would you say? Could you stand the pressure?â€
Please use the link to register for the event, which has been sponsored by Ignite À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ and the Department of Drama and Speech Communication. The $5.00 ticket cost will go to a student-chosen charity, which will be announced at the event.
