DESCRIPTION:Summary \n\nThis workshop is an introduction to puppetry wherei
 n the goal is to\nhave the participant walk away with an understanding of 
 the\nfundamentals of working with puppets of various styles.  Most of the
 \nwork will include manipulation of basic puppets and found objects but\nw
 e will attempt to cover work with full body and over sized puppets as\nwel
 l as the Japanese style of bunraku.  Some of the different styles\nwill i
 nvolve partnered manipulation.  The workshop will also involve\nimprovisa
 tions work with much of the focus being on maintaining a\nnarrative.\n
