This\ntalk will discuss an algebraic solution to this problem using only the\nfour arithmetic oper ations. We will show how a new type of frieze\npattern can be employed to arrange the measurement data. These friezes\nexhibit glide symmetry and a version of the Laurent phenomenon.\n\nTHERE WILL BE A PRE-SEMINAR PRESENTI NG RELEVANT BACKGROUND AT THE\nBEGINNING GRADUATE LEVEL STARTING AT 1PM\,\ n DTSTAMP:20250516T213745Z END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
