In this talk we will address the probl em of\ndetermining which convex cones are self-dual in a broad sense\, wh ich\nallows changing the underlying inner product if necessary. We will\nd escribe some recent progress on this question for polyhedral cones\nand di scuss some unexpected connections. In particular\, we will show a\ncurious result connecting self-dual polyhedral cones and extreme rays\nof doubly nonnegative matrices. We will also discuss how semidefinite\nprogramming can be used to search for self-dual polyhedral cones. Time\nallowing\, we will describe new results on the related problem of\ndetermining the autom orphisms of certain cones of interest.\n\nThis talk is based on joint work s with João Gouveia and Masaru Ito.\n DTSTAMP:20250516T165946Z END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
