Subsequently Glock\, Kühn\, Lo\, and \nOsthus provided an alternate purely combinatorial proof of the\nExistenc e Conjecture via the method of iterative absorption.  We\nintroduce a nov el method of “refined absorption” for designs\; in\nthis talk\, as our first application of the method we provide a new\nalternate proof of the Existence Conjecture.
