For $\\alpha = 1\,2$ this gives closed forms for the\neigenvalue s of the permutation and perfect matching derangement\ngraphs\, resolving an open question in algebraic graph theory. Our\nproofs center around a Ja ck analogue of a hook product related to\nCayley's $\\Omega$--process in c lassical invariant theory\, which we\ncall \\emph{the principal lower hook product}.\n DTSTAMP:20250523T180543Z END:VEVENT END:VCALENDAR
