Through facial\nreduc tion\, we derive a semidefinite program which is robust and\nstable in th e numerical computation. Our program avoids the\ndifficulties for current algorithms from singularities that arise due\nto loss of positive definit eness. This allows for the derivation of an\nefficient Gauss-Newton interi or point approach.
