The University of ��ݮ��Ƶ is finishing their participation in an exciting new collaborative program, Climate Connect; involving 60+ students and 20+ researchers from across the world to gather and discuss climate change. IC3 member, Angela Carter, and IC3's managing director, Simon Glauser, reflected on the program's benefits with the help of upper-year students Simrit Dhillon, Nilusha Rattansi and Philip Zuidema. 

The Interdisciplinary Centre on Climate Change (IC3) and ��ݮ��Ƶ International are now accepting applications from third and fourth year U��ݮ��Ƶ students for the new Climate Connect Program.

Unpacking the international governance framework of the Conference of the Parties () to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (). Moderated by ��ݮ��Ƶ Professor Ian Rowlands, the discussion explored how COP fits into the global climate change governance system, and featured guest speakers who shared their own COP experiences.

IC3 is pleased to partner with Concept and the Problem lab to support University of ��ݮ��Ƶ students through the WE Accelerate Program. The ​​​​​​new program will offer one-term work projects, with mentorship support from industry partners

Fighting against the harmful effects of climate change can take many different forms. Reducing, reusing, and recycling are helpful and have been staples of eco-friendly campaigns for decades, but with technological advances and an increased urgency we as a species must do more.

IC3 has teamed up with U��ݮ��Ƶ's Concept to offer grant funding for business ideas aimed at solving climate change problems. This funding will be awarded to student teams to directly support innovation and entrepreneurship focused on climate solutions.

U��ݮ��Ƶ students from the faculty of Engineering and Environment hosted a recent webinar presented by the Interdisciplinary Centre on Climate Change (IC3) and Faculty of Health. The webinar “The impacts of climate change on public health: Opportunities to mitigate risk” was held on February 10, 2021.

The webinar “Toxic Algal Blooms – Implications of Climate Change on Frequency and Prevention in Water Systems” was held on January 27, 2021.
