Bringing Two Worlds Together Somehow

Instagram post for the writing and stitching event, same info as included in the rest of the page

You are warmly invited to join us for poetry and stitching in the Grebel Gallery as part of Art is Always Conflict, an exhibit of artwork by Elizabeth Wenger curated by Dr. Carol Penner and Sadie Ingle.

Liz once said: “I think art is always conflict. You’re trying to bring two worlds together somehow in a way that makes sense.â€

Through a few creative prompts involving writing and stitching, we'll explore what art and conflict mean to us and our communities. How can we bring our worlds together?

The gallery space is accessible via elevator (level 4 wheelchair icon). It can also be uniquely visited through an audio tour created by the curators. Please reach out to the Centre's Coordinator if there’s anything we can do to make your visit easier and more welcoming.
