According to the latest release by Clarivate, Prof. Xuemin (Sherman) Shen and Prof. Weihua Zhuang have been named Highly Cited Researchers 2025 in the Computer Science and Cross-Field categories, respectively.
The Highly Cited ResearchersÌýlist recognizes researchers whose publications rank among the top 1% by citations in their field, an honour achieved by one in 1,000 researchers worldwide. This recognition demonstrates the significant and broad influence in their field(s) of research.

Prof. Xuemin (Sherman) Shen and several BBCR members attended the Seventeenth International Conference on Wireless Communications and Signal Processing (WCSP 2025), held from October 23 to 25, 2025, in Chongqing, China. As the International Advisory Committee Chair, Prof. Shen delivered a speech at the opening session and presented the Best Paper Awards at the banquet.
