Peter BernathÌýis a Research Professor at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ. He is also the Principal Investigator for the Atmospheric Chemistry Experiment (ACE) that studies the Earth's atmosphere. His research objective is the spectroscopic characterization of unusual chemical species. Of particular interest are the molecules found in flames, electrical discharges, lasers, explosions, the earth's atmosphere, stellar atmospheres and the interstellar medium.
