Reports of officers
President – Viv Hoang

President, Hoang reported on By-Elections. The elections have begun today and will continue until Mar. 7. The general election will be requested later in the week,

President, Hoang reported on Housekeeping items. Transition documents should be completed by the end of the week at latest. Rochelle, Hanna and Viv will be reviewing and leaving feedback. As an incentive, if all exec members submit transition documents on time, there will be a reward of dinner next meting.

President Hoang reported on Dean’s lunch. The event is an informal opportunity to converse with the dean, update her about AHSUM activities as a team, and advise on how they can support us in those endeavors. All team members are expected to attend, and a when2meet will be circulated to find the time execs are most available.
Vice president, events – Tabia Chowdhury
- VP, Chowdhury reported on Paint and Sip. The bubble tea menu has been added to the event form for the promotions team. RSVPs for the event will be capped at 80 and walk-ins will be allowed based on no-show numbers. Exec members should sign-up to volunteer during the event. President Hoang will manage payments tomorrow.
- JOEY, Khan reported on GMM. The date is being switched from March 11 to potentially March 20. VP, Kang should make a when-to-meet to choose a new date that works for execs. President, Hoang and JOEY, Khan will discuss details further.
- JOEY, Mundh reported on Nani’s Gelato Food Truck event. It has been moved from the 27th to the 25th, and the WUSA event form has been submitted. VP Chowdhury needs to get approval for parking services. Payment will be finalized later by President Hoang and VP Liu. Four flavors of gelato are pending selection. The set-up will be similar to the lady glaze event earlier in the term.
Vice president, education – Angelica Marsili
- VP, Marsili reported on SWEP. All action items have been completed for SWEP. The sign-up form will be open until the time of the event and food is first-come, first-serve.
- VP, Marsili reported on Bites and Insights. The event will be held from 1-4 at the Grad House, which has been booked. Email invites will be sent to profs tomorrow. A story promo should be posted for the professor introductions/profile. Promo JOEYs make the physical invites by printing multiple per page and VP, Marsili will cut out individual cards. Reps will be signing the cards before they are sent. Food invoice is pending and updates will be provided as they occur.
Vice president, internal affairs – Hanna Kang
- No reports from VP, Kang.
Vice president, finance – Vicky Liu
- VP, Liu reported on the budget. Revenue from snacks has been updated. Costco trip needs to be updated. Drink orders for snack restock need to be sent to VP, Liu to be added to the budget.

Communications and promotionsÂ
- Director, Khan reported on the Content Calendar. Reminder that the promotions team needs to be updated when posts are being added or taken away from the calendar.
- Director, D’Angelo reported on JOEY posts. Director, D’Angelo sent communications and shared the folder with the JOEYs. Photos are due by Saturday March 8th.

- President, Hoang reported on services in absence of Director, Akkerman. Snack restock was completed. Execs are reminded to log sold items as the logs and inventory have not been matching up. Current sweater sales have been canceled, and Director, Akkerman will be determining next steps after meeting with JOEY, Ocampo. Updates are to be provided at the next meeting. President Hoang should follow up with Director Akkerman on communications with WStore regarding the cancelation of sweater sales.

Kinesiology
- Rep, Yang reported on Kinesiology. Department Council was last week where they discussed the budget, sending offers to international students, and provided an update on CCCARE. They started working with other organizations such as Grand River Hospital, and mentoring/training new volunteers is the main goal.
Public Health

Recreation and Leisure Studies
- No report.
Other business
- Rochelle followed up regarding the janitorial staff in the AHSUM lounge. Execs reported they were not seen thus far in the week, but they will continue to update.
- Co-op Education Council will be joining our meeting on the 24th and will be talking to us about a new project with Microsoft, piloting a new AI chatbot on portal and À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµWorks. Execs should try to think of questions to ask CEC and conversation starters for the Dean’s Lunch as well.
