Dr. Norah McRae (she/her) is passionate about sustainability and lifelong learning. The associate provost of the University’s Co-operative and Experiential Education (CEE) unit recently put that passion into action by completing a leading national education program.
À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ’s Co-operative and Experiential Education (CEE) unit has once again displayed innovation in sustainability with another award-winning project. CEE’s focus on sustainability through international work terms has earned the unit the Sustainability Education Award- Silver at the Reimagine Education Conference and Awards.
Nurturing Indigenous voices, identities and community within À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ’s work-integrated learning model takes first-hand experience. Bryanne Smart (she/her), associate director, Indigenous Relations at Co-operative and Experiential Education (CEE), has the passion and experience to help create change.
As long-time members of Co-operative and Experiential Education (CEE), Scott (BES ‘84, MA ‘88) and Linda (BA ‘81) Davis both know the importance of work-integrated learning at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ. As a testament to that importance, the Davises have committed $5,000 to the Co-op for Community program through the Co-operative and Experiential Education Fund.
Mary-Ellen Cullen and Steve Menich want to help build stronger communities in À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ Region. They have found an outlet for their passion to give back by funding co-op students jobs at non-profit organizations through their contributions to the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ’s Co-op for Community fund.

At the 2021 Employer Impact Awards, Co-operative and Experiential Education (CEE) celebrated three employers who are University of À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ graduates. These alumni, and their organizations, provide incredible opportunities for co-op students.
À¶Ý®ÊÓƵ is an active participant in the WACE Global Challenge, a program supporting international experiences for students, which won an award for helping to advance the (SDGs).
