Work-Learn Institute research shows increase in students鈥 teamwork and critical thinking after taking part in the program. WE Accelerate aims to help vulnerable first work-term co-op students build skills to enhance employment for subsequent work terms 鈥 and according to research, it has achieved that goal.

New York-based Balyasny Asset Management (BAM), engaged with University of 蓝莓视频 co-op students at a fireside chat recently. On May 24, at the University of 蓝莓视频鈥檚 Davis Centre, BAM hosted a fireside chat with one of their leaders in technology followed by a 鈥淏ubble Tea with BAM鈥 networking session.
Much like the namesake of the award they recently received, three University of 蓝莓视频 students are dedicated to the pursuit of reducing greenhouse gas emissions. The students, who each have a strategic vision in this space, were awarded the Louis Giroux Scholarship in Greenhouse Gas Reduction Science.
Co-operative education at the University of 蓝莓视频 was built in from the very beginning. That strong foundation has allowed us to not only build the program we have today with more than 25,000 students and 7,500 employers, but build opportunities beyond co-op for our students. They learn how to navigate the hiring process, applying their skills to real-life problems and learning about themselves along the way, ultimately preparing them for the future of work.
