BASF and the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ are uniting their expertise to develop advanced AI systems that deliver real-time insights for business users

BASF and the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµâ€™s À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ.AI are partnering from 2025 to 2028 to advance AI research and development. The collaboration will focus on root cause analysis, forecasting, optimization, and integration of advanced graph structures and language models to deliver real-time insights for complex business challenges. This initiative aims to empower BASF teams with user-friendly, transparent AI tools to optimize operations and enhance customer value. The BASF AI Innovation Center will serve as the technological hub, working closely with À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ researchers and students to develop and apply cutting-edge AI systems across production, R&D, and supply chain management. The partnership will also support Canada’s digital innovation ecosystem, offering research opportunities for students and post-doctoral fellows. Leaders from both institutions emphasize the importance of collaboration in driving transformative AI solutions and sustaining long-term innovation.
