Expert highlights importance of understanding the uses of artificial intelligence at work

Artificial intelligence can do so much today: it can offer you relationship advice, teach you how to make baba ganoush,  or even do your kid's homework.

Jimmy Lin, a professor at the David R. Cheriton School of Computer Science at the University of À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ (UW) and the co-director of the university's Artificial Intelligence Institute, says it is important to understand artificial intelligence apps like ChatGPT to keep up with our ever-changing workplaces.

Lin, who is also the co-director of UW's Artificial Intelligence institute, joined CBC Kitchener-À¶Ý®ÊÓÆµ's The Morning Edition to speak with host Craig Norris about why the technology may be key to remaining relevant at work for many people.
