Alumni will enjoy stunning views along the Grand Canal, meet with Associate Professor and AAHA curatorial collective member, <a href="/architecture/profile/a3blackw"> Adrian Blackwell</a>, and visit with students participating in the Venice Biennale Studio.</span></p> <p><span><strong>Daytime: Walking Tour of Venice with Professor Rick Haldenby</strong></span></p> <p><span>In the afternoon, alumni will spend a memorable afternoon walking the streets of Venice with long-time ݮƵ Architecture Faculty member, <a href="/architecture/profile/erhalden"> Professor Rick Haldenby</a>.</span></p> <p><span><em>ݮƵ Architecture grad and former Director of the School, Professor Rick Haldenby founded ݮƵ’s highly successful Rome program. Over the past four decades, Haldenby has conducted archaeological work in Italy, Malta, and Tunisia. He is an expert in Mediterranean archaeology and the design and management of historic landscapes and sites. In 2022, Haldenby was inducted in the Order of Canada.</em></span></p> <p><span><strong>Evening: Dinner Reception</strong><br /><strong><span>Location: Trattoria Da Gigio, Rio Terà S. The Nardini Grappa Distillery was completed in 2004, designed by Massimiliano and Doriana Fuksas</span><span><span><span><span><span>in Bassano del Grappa</span></span></span></span></span><span>.
