鈥淲e were really pleased with how this came together, and built on what we accomplished at the first workshop last year in Duisburg. We have formed new collaborations, have planned several student exchanges at the undergrad and graduate level, joint publications, and have identified several joint funding opportunities. We are already looking forward to our next workshop in Duisburg, in 2019,鈥 said WIN members and co-Chairs, Dr.聽Michael Pope聽and Dr.聽Kyle Daun.

In response the Managing Director of CENIDE, Tobias Teckentrup said, 鈥淚t was a great pleasure to be hosted at WIN for our second joint workshop. We were happy to have an intensive discussion about scientific topics for further future collaboration. We look forward to hosting the next workshop in Duisburg in 2019, to further build on existing interactions.鈥 聽

Workshop participant and CENIDE board member Dr.聽聽said, 鈥淚t is great to see that the number of people involved in the WIN-CENIDE collaboration is constantly increasing."
